Gear Adjust Boring Bar Range consists of Integral Gear Adjust Boring Bars, Parallel Shank Gear Adjust Boring Bars and Gear Adjust Boring Rings.The Gear Adjust system enables the tool to be adjusted in 0.002mm increments on the cutting diameter and is thus the ideal tool for boring high precision holes. Typical boring range Ø7mm - Ø475mm.
These boring units all use a single cutting edge. This means that the hole being bored will always remain concentric to the centreline of the machines spindle. The dial increments give the option of adjusting within 0.020mm tolerance on diameter.
