CAMERA SYSTEM

The ESISET Tool Presetter features an innovative and exclusive camera vision system with colour LCD and touch–screen function.

A C-Mos image sensor together with an SRN screen, allows very accurate measurements of every kind of tool profile. This method is completely automatic: it allows the measurement of the tool profile simply bringing it into the screen.

Radii and angle measurement is automatic (print mode).

It is enough to fame the tool profile on the screen and all geometric characteristics will be measured in real time -automatically without any additional x and z axes movements.

Focusing bars for both axes, allow 100% repeatability and reproducibility.

The machines software can be updated via the internet at no cost.

ROTATING SPINDLE

The rotating spindle, unique in its design, follow and exclusive projecting scheme based

on 6 mini-bearings. The bearings allow radial concentricity error compensation.

Manufactured in four sized ISO/BT/CAT 50 & 40 are available as standard options. Adaptors can then be accommodated within the main spindle for additional shank sizes such as HSK,VDI and Capto.

A simple spindle rotation brake allows measuring of boring bars, preventing rotation

during measurement.

MOVEMENT

All X and Z axis movements are manual rapid.

In order to make seeking the tool profile simple and immediate (framed on the screen), we have included additional rapid adjustment had-wheels for both the x and z axes.

The movement system allows quick and precise axes positioning for speedy image visualisation on the screen. In its market the ESISET is the only machine with such a possibility.

The mechanism is designed to be simple and maintenance free.

MECHANICAL FEATURES

Solid Granite Column and Base.—Special ‘Double Prism’ guides & guideways.

Measuring Range: X Axis 130mm (Ø260mm), Z Axis 360mm. Zero setting with certified resetting rod.

Resolutions: x axis = 1 µm; z axis = 5 µm. Manual Axes movements.

Optoelectronics linear scales. 3,9” colour LCD (80 x 60mm) with Touch Screen system.
