The Universal 3D Sensor is a very precise and
versatile measuring instrument for milling and
erosion machines (insulated sensor insert).
It is clamped into the milling spindle resp. the
electrode head and makes possible an exact
osition of the spindle axis on the edges of the
workpiece or jig. So workpiece zeros may be
set and the length may be measured quickly
and easily. You may approach in any direction
(x-,y-,z axis). The dial gauge always defects
into the same direction and indicates the distance
between spindle axis and workpiece edge. At the
first attempt, no trials, no calculating, no problems
with positive or negative signs, that reduces the
cost, increases the productivity and is easy to operate.
